Never Normal: No Face, No Case
Wearable sculptures exploring identity and self-invention. Hand-embellished balaclavas from the founder’s own practice: rhinestones, spikes, fun fur, and fringe, built stitch by stitch, one piece at a time.
A balaclava is built to erase a face: anonymity, protection, a blank where a person used to be. Never Normal takes that job description and turns it inside out.
Each mask starts as a plain knit shell, then disappears under hours of hand work. Rhinestone chain sewn in dripping lines. Spikes set like punctuation. Fun fur in colors no balaclava was ever supposed to wear. The face underneath stays hidden while everything else gets louder.
no case.

No two are the same, on purpose. One mask goes heavy on rhinestone fringe and lets it hang like jewelry that got out of hand. Another commits to a single wild color story: yellow spikes, lavender trim, a chain of beads running down one cheek like it’s crying diamonds. Never normal is the only brief.
They’re made for wearing: to Babestock, onto warehouse floors, into whatever room calls for a little more armor. The box they came in should stay empty. Commissions are open. Tell me a color story and I’ll build you a face to disappear behind.
Every mask is one of one. Tell me a color story and I’ll build you a face to disappear behind.
